Rs 400 cr earmarked for district planned scheme: Hry FM

Haryana Finance Minister, Captain Abhimanyu on Thursday said that keeping in view 99 per cent utilisation of budget under district planned scheme during the financial year 2017-18,  a sum of Rs 400 crore  has been earmarked under the same for 2017-18 as against Rs 300 crore of last year.

An additional budget of Rs 100 crore has been approved for this financial year for overall development of all the districts, said the Finance Minister.

He said that under the revised budget for 2017-18, the State Government had announced to disburse Rs 300 crore under various development schemes for all the districts of the Haryana. An expenditure of Rs 298 crore amounting to 99 percent of the total has already been disbursed for the district development schemes.

Captain Abhimanyu further said that it is for the first time in the history of the state that an expenditure of 99 percent of the approved budget has been incurred for the same.

He also said the government is working on the motto of “Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikaas” for the overall development of Haryana.

The government is emphasizing more on infrastructural development of the state under which there has been equal development across Haryana. This year also the planned amount would be fully disbursed for the overall development of all the districts, he assured.
