LUDHIANA: The
civic officials started dismantling the illegal structures on a drain in
Subhash Nagar where leisure valley is to be developed. On Friday, the municipal corporation officials also sealed three
illegal buildings in city. The action was taken after the orders were issued by municipal commissioner Jaskiran Singh.
The officials sealed three buildings in Sunder Nagar, Gill Road and Field Ganj. The officials had earlier stopped the construction of these buildings, but when the owners continued the construction, they sealed the premises.
The officials also started removing the illegal structures on drain in Subhash Nagar area so that leisure valley could be developed at that place.
Recently, deputy commissioner Pardeep Agrawal, Singh and area MLA Sanjay Talwar had visited the drain site for inspection.
