Queensland cat hurler charged with animal cruelty

A Queensland man caught on video hurling a cat over a fence and into the window of a house next door has been charged with animal cruelty.

The video, which shows a man laughing after throwing the animal, sparked outrage when RSPCA Queensland appealed for help to track the man down.

The 19-year-old will appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court next Tuesday charged with one count of animal cruelty.
