Palanpur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday arrested branch manager of Dena Gujarat Gramin Bank after he was caught red-handed accepting Rs 5,000 bribe in Panchda village of Vadgam taluka. Kiritkumar Doshi had sought bribe from a farmer for amalgamating the interest with the original amount Rs 2,25,838 and providing him zero per cent interest under the Union government scheme. “We laid a trap after the farmer approached ACB on Thursday and caught Doshi red-handed,” ACB inspector K J Patel said.tnn
