 In Telangana, the death toll has risen to 8 in the tractor accident that took place at Vaddipatla village in Nalgonda district. A tractor carrying over 30 labourers fell in a canal this morning. Police said the tractor in which the labourers were travelling overturned and fell into the canal.
All victims, belonging to one tribal hamlet, were going to work in an onion field. The rescue operation is underway for those missing. Locals and police rescued about ten persons and few people came out from the canal on their own. So far, eight bodies have been fished out from the canal.
