Rhythm 2018 begins at Women’s Government Polytechnic College

The competitive spirit and the enthusiasm to participate in events, is all about the annual cultural fest of Women’s Government Polytechnic College ‘Rhythm 2018’. The annual fest Rhythm 2018 began here form Thursday at the college premises.

 Marking the first day of the event, two competitions including Face Painting competition rangoli making competition and solo dance competitions were organized on Thursday. It was the creativity at its best, when the students presented their innovative ideas in the most unique ways.

Under face painting competition, the students highlighted various issues, like ‘Save environment’ save water’ and many more. It was a wonderful sight to watch a variety of creativity at one stage.  In this colorful competition, all the students of girl students performed their art very enthusiastically and through their art have given a message of education for society.

The annual function was divided into various segments in which the students performed to the best of their skills. The students showcased their skill in rangoli making competition wherein they gave colourful description of their perceptions.

The students portrayed their talent in different forms. Some students made the free hand rangoli, some tried their hands in traditional art and some cre3ated rangoli with colourful flowers giving a eco-friendly message. The students created figures like peacock and other animals while some students gave wings to their imagination and created different floral designs.

Observing the first day of the fest the students had a gala time during the annual celebration. The students were overwhelmed to watch the dance skills of their classmates under the event solo dance and were also astonished to see the innovative ideas that created the enjoyable atmosphere during the performances.

During the group dance performances, the students presented dances in the most innovative styles. There was contemporary, free style, folk dance and even bollywood performances. The first day was filled with lot of enthusiasm and fun.
