Mark Alexander retains SA Rugby presidency

Cape Town - Mark Alexander was on Friday re-elected in his role as president of SA Rugby.

Alexander, who first became SA Rugby president in October 2016, retained the presidency with "an absolute majority" at the rugby governing body's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Cape Town.

In a two-horse race, Alexander defeated Andre May from the Leopards for the position.

Francois Davids also retained his position as deputy president.
