And then there were none.
The Browns traded quarterback Kevin Hogan to Washington on April 6 for a 2018 sixth-round draft pick, choice 188 overall.
The Browns also sent the Redskins the sixth-round pick (205) they acquired from New England in the trade that sent defensive back Jason McCourty to the Patriots. To boil that down, the Browns traded McCourty and Hogan and netted the 188th pick in the draft in three weeks.
The trade honors a request Hogan made earlier in the week and means all three quarterbacks that were on the Browns’ roster in 2017 were traded since the league year began on March 14.
DeShone Kizer, 0-15 as a rookie starter with the Browns last season, was shipped to Green Bay for safety Damarious Randall on March 9, although the deal wasn’t officially announced until March 14. The Browns and Packers agreed to swap fourth-round and fifth-round picks in the deal.
Cody Kessler was traded to Jacksonville on March 28 for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2019.
Hogan was 0-1 as a starter last year. He asked to be traded because the Browns traded for Tyrod Taylor, signed Drew Stanton and plan to draft a quarterback.
