Wear jeans to work for a small donation to United Way

Beckley, WV (WVNS) - Who doesn't like wearing jeans to work. United Way of Southern West Virginia is hosting a fundraiser called Denim for a Difference Monday April 9, 2018 through Friday April 13, 2018. This event allows employees from the area to donate five dollars to United Way and in return their employer allows them to wear jeans for the day.

Michelle Rotellini, Executive Producer for United Way Southern West Virginia, stated "Be aware that it is denim for a difference. If you've never heard of it before tell your employer, ask if you can participate and then just give the United Way a call at 304-253-2111 and we will show you how to get started."

All of the money that is raised from Denim for a Difference will go towards the United Way's goal for this year of $860,000. You can contact the United Way if you would like to participate in Denim for a Difference.
