The tourism potential of the Ukrainian capital has been demonstrated by the Chinese tour operator to garner more tourists from China.
Around 20 Chinese tour operators will introduce unique routes and sightseeing attractions in Kiew that would be of interest to the Chinese by the Kiev City Administration.
Anton Taranenko, head of the tourism department at the city administration stated that Kiev will be offering Chinese tourists a varied amount of cultural and historical tours.
He further mentioned that Chinese people are mostly interested in monumental, buildings and temple architecture.
They consider churches not as religious objects but as places which can displays the culture and life of Ukrainians.
Gastronomy might be an interesting experience, and Tarkenko mentioned that the corporation between Ukrainian travel agencies and Chinese tour operators is bound to attract 24,000 Chinese tourist to Kiev in 2018.
