GETTY
There are 71 nations taking part in the 2018 Commonwealth Games this month including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Live television and radio coverage will be on the BBC throughout the Games, with over 4,000 athletes competing in 12 days of sporting events.
Sports in the Games range from cycling and swimming, to athletics, rugby and weightlifting.
Given the Commonwealth Games are taking place in Australia’s Gold Coast – with a nine hour the difference –- many of the events will take place overnight.
However viewers in the UK can catch up in the morning with the BBC highlights programmes.
The Games are on from now until Sunday April 15 and you can watch live coverage on both BBC1 and BBC2 from midnight through to 1pm each day.
During the afternoons, highlights and replays will be shown, with an evening highlights show ‘Today at the Games’ airing at 6.30pm everyday.
Radio coverage on BBC Radio 5 will have live commentary each day.
