VITEEE-2018 begins

Online exams will continue till April 15

VITEEE-2018, the entrance exams for students seeking admission in engineering courses in the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), started in the institute’s Amaravati campus on Wednesday.

A statement issued by the institute said the online exams would be conducted till April 15. This year, a total of 2.12 lakh students have registered for the admission test. Of them, 33,000 are from Andhra Pradesh.

VIT Chancellor G. Viswanadhan said innovative courses offered by the university had attracted a record number of students not only from across the country but also from other countries.

VIT-AP Registrar C.L.V Siva Kumar said 175 exam centres had been set up across the country to enable students to take the online test.
