
The ‘Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance 2018’ recognised 12 students from six GEMS Education schools, for the 20th edition of the awards.
A total of twelve students from six schools: GEMS Wellington International School, GEMS Our Own English High School, GEMS Millennium School – Sharjah, Cambridge International School, GEMS Al Barsha National School and Our Own High school, are recognised with the Hamdan Academic Award in the Outstanding Student category.
Sir Christopher Stone, Chief Education Officer, GEMS Education, said: “I’d like to offer my congratulations to the students for their commitment and dedication to excellence. I’m delighted that the academic accomplishments of GEMS students have been recognised by this prestigious award. It’s an outstanding achievement, indicative of the hard work and effort of the students and their teachers.”
Designed to highlight academic achievements, the ‘Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance’ acknowledges talents, skills and leadership abilities across a variety of disciplines.
