Haryana Minister of State for Public Health Engineering, Banwari Lal on Wednesday directed the officers to expedite the progress of newly approved projects costing Rs 363.79 crore under NABARD scheme in the state.
He asked them to take immediate steps for approval of DNITs and tenders should be invited for these projects.
The Minister was reviewing the progress of various schemes during a meeting with senior officers of the Department here.
Notably, NABARD had sanctioned three new projects for augmentation of drinking water supply, canal based water supply and raw water arrangement for district Nuh, Mahendragarh and Jind respectively.
The Minister said that these works should be taken up as early as possible, so that benefits of drinking water can be given to the consumers for their better life.
