Jagan to move to his home at Tadepalli soon

Construction of residence-cum-office picks up pace

Putting an end to speculation over moving over to Capital Amaravati, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will soon move to his own house and party office being constructed at the river front village of Tadepalli abutting the Krishna river. Construction of the office-cum-residence is on at a frenetic pace as Mr. Jagan is keen on moving in before the end of the year and begin working from the Capital region.

Party sources said the structure would have an office complex and the residence of the party leader. A huge compound wall is being built on a piece of land owned by a popular movie producer, who might get a ticket to contest from an Assembly seat in the district.

The development is set to excite the party supporters who are bearing criticism especially by the TDP over the disinclination of Mr. Jagan to move out of his Hyderabad Lotus Pond residence.

The party took the blame as it was a bit late in setting up the State office in Vijayawada, while the TDP has already begun construction of a massive office at Chinakakani on the national highway.

The Congress and the BJP have their State offices in Vijayawada.

Mr. Jagan, while brushing aside criticism over shifting from Hyderabad, planned his moves soon after the elections in 2014 by buying an agricultural land at Tadepalli. After completing the formalities of getting the building plan approved by the Mangalagiri municipality, a Hyderabad-based construction company began the work.

The Capital region is now abuzz with the construction of the offices of the TDP, the YSRCP and the Jana Sena Party.

Cine actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan had recently performed bhoomi pooja for an office-cum-residence on a two-acre plot at Kaza village.
