The case of hunting Blackbuck which is running from the last 20 years has came to en end as the Jodhpur session court has given its verdict today on the Bollywood’s superstar Salman Khan and others.

Jodhpur court to give verdict in Salman Khan blackbuck poaching case soon

Salman Khan has been sentenced to 5- year jail term and fine of Rs 10,000 in the Blackbucks poaching case. Salman will be directly headed to the Central Jail from the court premises.

Jodhpur court has convicted Salman Khan in this case and has let off Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and others!

The court proceedings resumed after lunch break and Chief Judicial Magistrate Dev Kumar Khatri pronounced the quantum shortly.

History:  this all happened long back in year 1988 when the entire cast; Salman Khan in this case and has let off Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and others were filming for ‘Hum Sath Sath Hain’ in a remote village of Jodhpur. In this case, under Section 51 of Wildlife Protection Act and Section 51 of the Other Wildlife Conservation Act and Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code (illegal encroachment) Salman Khan is facing the allegations of killing Two Balckbuck.

This Could Be The Punishment:  Under Section 149 of the Wild Life Act, Salman Khan can be punished for maximum 6 years jail for hunting black deer. If Salman is sentenced more than three years jail, then he will have to go to jail in any given situation. If he is convicted for 3 years or less, then he will get bail immediately from the sessions court.

Salman Khan appeal against this judgement in the Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur.
