Spot demand lifts mentha oil futures by 0.68%

prices moved up by 0.68 per cent to Rs 1,413.10 per kg in futures market today as speculators created fresh positions amid uptick in demand from consuming industries in the domestic spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, for delivery in April went up by Rs 9.60, or 0.68 per cent to Rs 1,413.10 per kg in 158 lots.

Marketmen said fresh positions built up by traders after pick up in demand from consuming industries at the physical markets against restricted supplies from Chandausi led to the rise in prices at futures trade.
