BJP got a shot in the arm on Wednesday when Chief Minister Raghubar Das delivering a more than 30 minute speech in the Karyakarta Sammelan here in the Heritage Genie Kids school campus in Daltonganj boosted their moral and also showed them the way to perform during municipal elections. He also told party cadres to work hard for the victory of BJP candidates in the region.
“Palamu is a place where there is no dearth of politicians. I am also a party worker and hence everyone is a worker and not a leader. This election must be won for BJP nominees. There is no need to make a parade of development or beat drums about development as development speaks for itself. The Government has made long strides in development,” said the CM.
Das said towns and cities some years back used to wear a lifeless look but now these are vibrating and pulsating. He said “I am not claiming that towns and cities here have changed fully but people can see improved amenities now in towns and cities.”
Sources in the party said there runs an undercurrent of discontent and dissension in the party fold with regard to the candidature for the civic polls and the visit of the CM is being seen as dissolving forces of all those issues.
Das also rapped Congress and grand alliance very severely and blamed the party for all the ills into the State. “Grand alliance is nothing but an alliance of thieves. It is an alliance of racketeers, looters. Our people should be on guard against such gobbling up of varied forces which are aiming to loot this state again,” added Das.
He termed Congress and JMM as corrupt and their coming together is malafide. “In the Rajya Sabha polls the Opposition united together. Now in civic polls they are fighting against each other. What is this? Public should take note of it,” he added.
Das also mentioned Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya and urged people that his Government would do all to mitigate their sufferings as it was the dream of this great leader and appealed workers to back Aruna Shanker and Mangal Singh, the party’s mayor and deputy mayor candidates for Medininagar Municipal Corporation.
