Cenovus hires McKenzie as CFO from Husky Energy

(Reuters) - Canadian and gas producer Inc named as on Thursday, bringing in an industry veteran who most recently helped rival Inc rein in costs and strengthen its finances.

McKenzie will replace Ivor Ruste, who will retire later this month.

McKenzie joined Husky as in 2015 and was tasked with bringing down costs at a time when prices hit record lows. During his term, Husky resumed dividend payments this year after more than two years.
