While the Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 p.m.

Today is the 21st day of the second part Budget Session 2018. While the Rajya Sabha saw adjournment till 2 p.m., the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12 noon as uproar continued.

The Rajya Sabha witnessed a record 13 adjournments on April 4.

12 noon | Lok Sabha

AIADMK MPs continue their protests in the Well of the House as it reconvenes. Speaker Sumitra Mahajan tries to conduct the proceedings amid the din calling papers to be laid on the table.

11 a.m. | Rajya Sabha

 

Voices of protest began as soon as the House convened for the day. But Chairman Venkaiah Naidu succeeded in pacifying the protesters till the Ministers laid the papers. As and when the formality got over, members from A.P. began sloganeering at the Well, forcing the Chiar to adjourn the House till 2 p.m.

11 a.m. | Lok Sabha

 

The Lok Sabha began the day with protests and an adjournement.  The House was adjourned till 12 p.m. as uproar continued over several issues including Cauvery Management Board and A.P. Special Category Status.
