Standoff in Pleasant Hill neighbourhood ends safely
There was a large police presence at a standoff in Saskatoon’s Pleasant Hill neighbourhood on Wednesday.

A 30-year-old man had barricaded himself inside a home in the 100-block of Avenue U South. Police believed he had a knife.

As of 5:05 p.m. CT, the man had been arrested.
Police said the scene is being cleared at this time.
No injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
