Here are three fast facts about the 2018 BMW M4 Convertible that we took for a quick spin around the Coachella Valley in Southern California recently.
- The Tourmaline Violet Metallic is a $5,200 paint option and when it’s combined with an Amaro Brown Merino Leather interior—another $2,550 option—it looks incredible. It’s also available in more sedate flavors too, but why even go there?
2. Under the hood, the 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine cranks out 425 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. It is offered with a six-speed manual transmission—how cool is that? A seven-speed automatic transmission is also available if you must. Plus, the convertible can sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds.
