GITA ranked among top 150 colleges

BHUBANESWAR: Gandhi Institute for Technological Advancement (GITA) has ranked among the top 150 government and private technical colleges in the country, the rating of which was released by National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) - 2018.GITA’s officials said institute is being ranked among the top engineering colleges of the country since last two years by the MHRD. 

The Chairman of Gita, Satya Prakash Panda said that the rankings assume significance as the performances of the institutes have been linked with ‘Institutions of Eminence’ scheme of the Government of India.Secretary of GITA, Chandra Dhwaj Panda, informed that they will soon apply for autonomous status of the institute which was started in 2004 and asserted that the steps would further improve their ranking.Vice chairman of the institute, Biranchi Narayan Panda and Principal MK Roul and dean administration PK Routray were present.
