Commonwealth Games live stream: How to watch Gold Coast 2018 opening ceremony online
THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES is one of the more unusual but exciting sporting occasions and this edition - Gold Coast 2018 - will be watched and streamed around the world.

There are 71 different nations participating with 275 gold medals across 19 sports, all crammed into 11 days.
Team England have sent nearly 400 athletes to Australia and they will be led out by triathlete Alistair Brownlee, who will act as the flag-bearer in the Parade of Nations in the opening ceremony.
So here’s how you can watch the celebrations live from the Carrara Stadium.

When is the Commonwealth Games 2018 opening ceremony?
The opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday April 4 in Gold Coast.
The ceremony is due to start at 7.55pm local time in Queensland - or 10.55am back in the UK.
Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem is set to headline the event, which is expected to last as much as four hours, meaning it will finish around 3pm UK time.

The BBC will be covering the occasion - although not in full. It appears the latter stages of the event are not of interest and instead the BBC coverage will run on BBC One from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
