Cape Town – American actress Jaime King was left traumatised after a man reportedly attacked and vandalised her car.
According to E! News the man approached Jaime’s car on a skateboard and jumped on top of it, smashing her windows while her 4-year-old son, James Knight Newman, sat in the back seat.
TMZ reports Jaime was parked on the side of the road and outside the car when the incident happened, while a friend was inside the car with her son.
The friend reportedly got out of the car to confront the man, prompting him to throw a can at her.
According to People, young James was struck by glass, however his injuries are unclear.
The Beverly Hills Police Department states the man - identified as Paul Francis Floyd, 47, of Los Angeles – was arrested or felony child endangerment, misdemeanour battery and two counts of felony vandalism.
He is being held on $100k bail and is scheduled appear at the Airport Courthouse on 6 April.
