Elevated flyover to be constructed at Maneser to decongest NH 48

The Authority of (NHAI) is planning to construct a 1.2 km elevated flyover at Manesar, in a bid to ease the traffic burden on the busy Delhi-Jaipur NH 48, an said today.

The NHAI is in the final stage of preparing a Detail Project Report (DPR) for constructing the elevated flyover at Maneser.

According to a senior of the NHAI, the cost of the project was 100 crore and its construction will be completed in a time frame of 15 months.

The geographical location of the place is such that it has busy markets situated on the either side of the NH 48. As a result, people frequently cross the road leading to either traffic jam or accidents, a NHAI said.

IMT Maneser is known for industries and a large number of heavy vehicles ply everyday on this road with traffic jams common during peak hours.

The pointed out that Maneser is a major hurdle in the district which is preventing NH 48 from becoming signal free.
