Mohamed Danish is Chef de Cuisine at Kangan, The Westin Mumbai Garden City
The Westin Mumbai Garden City has appointed Chef Mohamed Danish as Chef De Cuisine of Kangan, its signature Indian restaurant. He began his culinary journey in 2007 at a Chennai coffee shop and restaurant. During his decade-long career, he has worked in several hotels in Mumbai, Jaipur and Saudi Arabia as a junior sous chef, sous chef and succeeded as a head chef in their Indian restaurants. He has worked with brands like Fairmont Raffles Hotels International Jaipur, Taj Fort Aguada Resort and Spa Goa, Taj Lands’ End Mumbai, Taj Jai Mahal Palace Jaipur.
Hailing from Lucknow, Chef Danish’s culinary forte is Indian and Awadhi cuisine, which will bring an enhanced aura to Kangan’s signature classics such as Dal Kangan, Kakori Kebab and Nalli Nihari. He will magnify the menu with his signature dishes like Kormey ki chaap, Tulsi wali pomfret, Murgh rezala kofta, Martaban ka lahori gosht, Papad sev ka paratha, amongst many others.
