THE MASTERS is finally here, so how much prize money will the winner take home from the most iconic tournament in golf?
Sergio Garcia is the reigning champion at Augusta, picking up his first green jacket after beating Justin Rose in a play-off last year.
The Spaniard is an outside bet to retain his crown, although Garcia is still likely to earn a large wedge of the $11million tournament purse.
According to golfnewsnet.com, even if a player misses the cut this week they are still guaranteed $10,000.
Finishing 51st will earn $26,620, while the eventual winner is set to take home a whopping 18 per cent of the overall prize fund.
