BJP Anusuchit Jati evam Janjati Morcha national in-charge Bhagwatsharan Mathur has said the BJP has tirelessly worked for the Dalits and the tribals.
Today the party enjoys the faith and confidence of the SC and ST people. Mathur was addressing a meeting of state functionaries and district in-charges of Anusuchit Jati evam Janjati Morcha.
Mathur said there was a time when the party did not enjoy the faith of Dalits and tribes but leaders like Atalji and Advaniji created confidence in these people and today the Dalits and the tribals are associated with the party in large numbers.
Addressing the meeting, the GAD Minister Lal Singh Arya said the government has made no change in the SC, ST Act and it fully supports Dalits and the tribals.
Expressing anguish at the incidents of violence, he said the Opposition is unnerved over the increasing popularity of the BJP among the Dalits and is so trying to mislead them.
