School Education Minister Kunwar Shah welcomes children on their first day at school

The Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah said that government schools in the state will be named after the martyrs. He suggested children to say Jai Hind in place of yes sir during the roll call.
Kunwar Shah was addressing the Balsabha on the first day of the academic session at village Sonkhedi of Khandwa district today. He reached school on the first day of the academic session and welcomed students by applying tilak.
Moreover, Kunwar Shah made an announcement of Rs. 17 lakh to each government school of Timarni and Sonkhedi village for furniture arrangement.
School Education Minister Kunwar Shah toured various villages of Harsud area today and conducted inspection of schools. He distributed free uniforms, books and cycles to the school students at Garbedi, Palanimal, Madni, Piplani, Dhanora, Dagahkhedi and Bharad.
He made announcement towards approval of Rs. 15 lakh for school building of village Madni and 200 seat girls’ hostel to be built at a cost of Rs. 8 crore in Harsud. In addition to this, he announced construction of High School building worth Rs. One crore 50 lakh at village Bharadi, school building at Palani costing Rs. One crore and approval for potable water scheme costing Rs. 52 lakh.
Keeping in view the summer season, Kunwar Shah has instructed the district education officer for school functioning from 8.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Moreover, he informed villagers about the importance of registration of labourers of unorganised sector. He mentioned that assistance at every stage of life will be provided to the labourers by the state government.
Kunwar Shah urged them to send every child of their village to school for education. Local Public Representatives were present on the occasion.
