Barrack for Salman Khan is ready

Ahead of the verdict, Jodhpur jail authorities have readied a barrack in case Salman Khan and the other film stars are found guilty.
However, jail authorities have clarified that no special arrangements will be made for the actor in case he is found guilty.
Speaking to DH, Jodhpur Central Jail Superintendent Vikram Singh said, "We have cleaned a barrack inside the central jail, in case the court declares them guilty on Thursday. There are good toilet facilities. However, inside the barrack, there is no cooler or AC - only a fan".
When asked about the threat given to the actor by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Singh said, "We will provide him extra security inside the jail, in case it is needed".
At present, the Jodhpur Central Jail houses self-styled Godman Asaram Bapu and former MLA Mahipal Maderna.
The jail was in the news recently, after Shambulal Regar - infamous for the murder he had video-recorded - posted videos from the jail premises online, which raised eyebrows on its security.
Cops on alert

Amandeep Singh, DCP east, who was taking stock of the CJM rural court situated in the high court premises told DH, "Around 200 police personnel will be deployed outside the court and premises to protect Salman".
Police will be seizing two gates out of the four gates of the court.
Barricades have also been put up to control the fans who will try to get inside.
Salman and the other stars will be presented in the courtroom, which measures 8 feet X 12 feet.
Situated inside the CJM rural court, a non-descript double storey building in the Rajasthan High Court premises, the room can accommodate a maximum of 8-10 people. Moreover, there will be just a fan to comfort the star cast in the 40 degree Celsius temperature of the city.
The police have also given strict instructions to the media to restrict themselves in a separate enclosure outside the court. "No journalist will be allowed to enter the courtroom," DCP Amandeep said.
