Haryana Government has constituted the State level steering committee under the chairpersonship of Chief Secretary for monitoring and successful implementation of Mission Antyodaya in the State.
The committee would include Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management, Additional Chief Secretaries of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Finance and Planning, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Power, Public Works (Building and Roads), Education, Principal Secretaries of Information Technology, Environment, Health, Forest, Public Health Engineering among other departments, said a spokesman of Rural Development Department.
He said that the Principal Secretary, Rural Development Department would be the member secretary.
The committee would prepare the master Government orders or resolutions detailing different processes and procedures and ensure inter-departmental coordination at all levels. Besides, it would issue instructions on convergence of schemes and resources including detailing of human resources and technical support at all levels.
It would also take decisions as needed for mid-course corrections and trouble-shooting and would respond to issues from the field and come out with circulars and clarifications. Besides, it would identify bottlenecks and the technical and administrative support required and issue necessary instructions and Government orders from time to time.
