Tin, nickel prices decline on subdued demand

Tin, nickel, select and declined at the non-ferrous market here today on stockists' selling amid subdued demand from industrial users.

While, zinc gained further on firm demand from consumer industries.

Tin and fell by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 1,440 and 910 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,445 and Rs 915, respectively.

sheet cutting moved down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 352 from Rs 355.

cable scrap and billets eased by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 450 and Rs 478 from Rs 452 and Rs 480, respectively.

utensils scrap softened by a Re per kg to Rs 411.

However, zinc rose by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 247 compared to Rs 244.
