Tom Hardy Venom movie: Guess which Star Wars actor ‘is playing villain Carnage’?
TOM HARDY’S Venom movie is set to see Star Wars Solo movie’s Woody Harrelson play Carnage, according to a new report.
This October the 40-year-old star will appear in his very own Spider-Man spin-off.
However much of the movie remains under wraps, with the first teaser trailer being criticised for not showing Venom.
But now a new report claims Star Wars spin-off Solo’s Harrelson will play Carnage.
That’s according to Bleeding Cool who have “been told in a very confirm-y way” by a source.

In Marvel comics Carnage is a Spider-Man super-villain and enemy of Venom.
Like Venom, he’s a Symbiote – an amorphous extraterrestrial who create a symbiotic bond with a single entity.
The big difference between Venom and Carnage is that the latter is a psychopath; having no sense of morality.
And as Venom’s human alter ego is Eddie Brock, Carnage’s is Celtus Kasady.
Kasady is a sadist who is deeply disturbed and in one comic book storyline becomes a serial killer.
Comic Book reports that Carnage co-creator David Michelinie is open to the idea of Harrelson playing his character.
He said: “Huh. This screamed ‘April Fool!’ at first, but I checked two listings on IMDB – for the Venom movie and Harrelson's own page – and they both list him as being in the flick."

He added: “And I don't think IMDB is into practical jokes. Harrelson's a good actor, and has a decent range. “He's played nutso characters in the past, but I guess we'll have to wait until October to see just how far he can ramp it up. Fingers crossed.”
Venom will be released in UK cinemas on October 5, 2018.
