KHAMMAM: Minister for Information Technology KT Rama Rao on Tuesday said that the government had decided to extend irrigation water to ten lakh acres in Bhadradri and Kothagudem districts. He said that the Bhadradri district was being shaped as an industrial hub and more jobs were being created.

Speaking after inaugurating a skill development centre in Kothagudem, KTR said that the Congress started ditching Telangana from Jawaharlal Nehru’s regime and the same was continuing in Rahul Gandhi’s period also.

He said that Congress duped the state for the first time by merging Telangana in Andhra Pradesh as it was done in 1956 when Jawaharlal Nehru was the Prime Minister of India. The people of Telangana were also duped when Mulki movement was weakened by the Congress, he added.

The minister said that Congress knew only how to cheat people, and nothing else. Congress constituted Telangana as a separate state as they had no other option after being cornered by the people of Telangana, he said.KTR also laid foundation stone for various buildings in Kothagudem and Manuguru including new collectorate complex in  Kothagudem.

Policy making and opportunities for women entrepreneurs were discussed during the chat. In her first visit to India, Dina Titus, US Congresswoman, said:  “We-hub’s vision is similar to the slogan - When women succeed, America succeeds.” She also said that women entrepreneurs have plenty of opportunities and need support to succeed as entrepreneurs. Deepthi Ravula, CEO of We Hub, said: “Women are able to open businesses that cater to a different clientele or niche sector more than their male counterparts.
