The Nokia 6 will go on sale from April 6 at Nokia Mobile shops and select mobile outlets. Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco can be bought from April 30 onward.
HMD Global, the company that makes and sells Nokia mobile phones, launched three new Nokia handsets in India on Wednesday.
The three models - Nokia 6 (2018 model), Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco - were initially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona in February.
The phones have been priced at Rs 16,999, Rs 25,999 and Rs 49,999, respectively.
While Nokia 7 Plus will be available exclusively on Amazon and at Nokia Mobile stores, the Nokia 8 Sirocco model will be available exclusively on Flipkart and from select mobile outlets.
Nokia 6:
The Nokia 6 model is an Android One phone, which runs on a Snapdragon 630 processor and is 4G VoLTE-compatible. The phone comes with 3 GB of RAM and an internal memory of 32 GB.
The phone's memory could be expanded to a maximum of 128 GB, and it comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD LCD screen with a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels.
The phone comes with an 8 MP front camera with an aperture rate of f/2.0, and a 16 MP primary rear camera with an aperture rate of f/2.0. It is powered by a 3000 mAh battery and has miscellaneous features like Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB, 3.5 mm headphone jack, etc.
The phone will be available in black, silver white, and blue gold colours.
Nokia 7 Plus:
The Nokia 7 Plus is again an Android One phone and runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. It features a 6-inch full-HD+ screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of 1080*2160 pixels.
The phone comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. Its memory could be expanded to a maximum of 256 GB.
On the camera front, Nokia 7 Plus does quite well for itself. It comes with a 13 MP front camera with a f/2.0 aperture rate. It sports a dual-rear camera setup with a 12 MP wide-angle primary camera, and a 13 MP secondary camera with 2x optical zoom with an aperture rate of f/1.75 and f/2.6, respectively.
The phone features Zeiss camera sensors.
One of the other highlights of the Nokia 7 Plus is its massive 3,800 mAh battery. Other features include 4G VoLTE compatibility, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB, 3.5 mm headphone jack, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, etc.
The phone will be available in black/copper and white/copper colour combinations.
Nokia 8 Sirocco:
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is Nokia's newest flagship device.
The phone runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS and is powered by Snapdragon's latest 835 octa-core processor. It comes with a 5.5 inch pOLED QHD display, with a resolution of 1440*2560 pixels.
The Sirocco's screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which is really quite tough. It has an internal storage capacity of 128 GB and features 6 GB of RAM. The phone, however, does not support memory expansion.
On the camera front, Nokia's latest flagship is good, but not extraordinary. It features a dual-rear camera setup with a 12 MP wide-angle primary sensor and an f/1.7 aperture rate, combined with a 13 MP telephoto lens featuring 2x optical zoom.
The secondary telephoto lens has an aperture rate of f/2.6. The rear camera setup also has dual-tone LED flash.
On the front, the phone sports a 5 MP camera with an aperture rate of f/2.0.
The Sirocco has a decent 3,260 mAh battery, which supports Qi Wireless charging, thanks to its glass body. Miscellaneous features include 4G VoLTE compatibility, Type-C USB, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Sirocco is only available in Black colour.
