Hannover's Jonathas suffers new injury

German football club 96 has announced that striker Jonathas suffered a new during a training session.

The Brazilian sustained a torn hamstring and will be thus out of action for "at least two weeks", according to the club's statement on Tuesday, reports

"We wish you a speedy recovery and keep our fingers crossed for a quick comeback," said via the club's official homepage.

Jonathas joined newly promoted in August 2017. He has provided three goals and assists in 12 competitive appearances.

However, it is not the first time that the prone striker has been sidelined this season.
