GREATER NOIDA: A team of Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) officials visited sector Beta 1 on Tuesday where RWA members apprised the officials on pending problems of non-functioning street lights, open panel boxes and cable wires, menace of stray animals, unkempt parks, rampant encroachment and law and order issues in the area.
“Officials of the GNIDA with general maanager K K Singh visited our sector Beta 1 who instructed the employees to attend to all the pending issues as mentioned. He was accompanied by senior managers Ramesh Chandra, Khajan Singh, Anand Mohan and more,” said Harinder Bhati, resident of sector Beta 1.

While Alok Nagar, RWA general secretary sector Beta 1, complained against lackadaisical approach of GNIDA and sought the reasons for the continued failure of official action over pending problems from GM Singh, he urged for regular visits of officials to redress periodical issues.

“The lack of proactive authority action and approach of GNIDA officials has resulted in the sector suffering from civic, security and sanitation problems. We are tired of their laid-back approach and have urged GM Singh to take action,” said Nagar who sought the reasons for the continued failure of authority officials from the GM.

Even as RWA president Arvind Bhati, drew attention of authority officials towards the deteriorating condition of the sector parks, stray dogs and monkey menace, non-functioning street lights, lack of security in the sector.

While GM Singh assured residents of action on all counts and directed officials to deliver at the earliest.
