President Donald Trump will sign an order Wednesday authorizing National Guard troops to help patrol the U.S.-Mexico border, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said. The announcement comes a day after Trump said troops would guard the border "until we can have a wall and proper security." President Barack Obama also deployed National Guard troops to the border during his administration.
