‘Claims of development exposed’

Tiwari slams Kejriwal for poor state of health, education

The Comptroller and Auditor General report has “exposed” the Aam Aadmi Party government’s claims regarding development in health and education sectors, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari said on Tuesday.

Stating that the report has established that the dispensation was “not paying attention” to development of the Capital, Mr. Tiwari said: “The report has established the fact that the Arvind Kejriwal-led government is paying no attention to development of the city and its tall claims on health and education are frivolous.”

He added that the CAG report has “confirmed” that health services are “not functioning properly” due to “lack” of equipment, pharmacists and other resources at health facilities.

“At the cancer institute, equipment is lying unused since 2015, but the government has no time to start it. The CAG has also been critical of the working of Ayush dispensaries,” he added.
