PITTSBURG — St. Mary’s-Colgan took first place in a very windy Frontenac Invitational with a score of 317 at the Four Oaks Golf Course. Girard’s score of 326 was good enough for second, and Frontenac came in four with a score of 384.
Colgan’s Bradley Beykerch finished with the top individual score with a 31-39 — 70. Teammate Cal Marquardt finished in fourth place on the individual leaderboard with a 38-41 — 79. Trevor Graham rounded out the Panthers in the top ten with a 34-49 — 83, good for sixth place. Garret Bollinger scored a 38-47 — 85, finishing 11th, and Carter Barnes was the last Panther in the top 20, coming in 14th with 42-45 — 87. Johnny Goetting scored 44-53 — 97.
Girard’s Cole Warner finished in second place on the individual leaderboard with a 34-39 — score. Trojan Spencer Warner scored a 40-43 — 83, which was good for fifth place. Ethan Warner rounded out the number of Trojans in the top ten, finishing 10th with a 38-47 — 85 score. Cooper Brown tied for 11th with Colgan’s Bollinger, scoring a 40-45 — 85. David Reno finished with a 36-53 — 89, good for 16th place and Kyler Siebert rounded out Girard’s top 20 finishers at 17th with a 40-50 — 90.
Drew Cummins led Frontenac with a 39-45 — 84 score, which was good for seventh place on the leaderboard. Ross Fry rounded out Frontenac players in the top 20 with a 45-47 — 92, good for 19th. Riley Johnson scored a 47-54 — 101, and teammate Jack Brooksher scored 47-60 — 107. Saige Briggs scored a 47-61 — 108 and Landon Cummins finished with a 52-66 — 118.
