Design, Fashion, Media
Pearl Academy announced applications for admission to PG and UG courses for Design, Fashion, business and Media across all campuses. It will be conducting its entrance exam in order to shortlist aspirants for admissions for Under Graduate and Post-Graduate courses in design, fashion, business and media programmes offered by the academy. Considered to be a pioneer in fashion education for 25 years, Pearl Academy has its campuses in New Delhi, Mumbai, Noida and Jaipur.
New course: Pearl Academy introduced three-year UG courses in Media & Communication namely Advertising and Marketing, Media and Communication, and Media Communication — Journalism/ Entertainment / Brand communications from the academic year beginning July 2018. They have also introduced two-year post graduate course in Media and Communication with pathways in Journalism, Entertainment and Brand Communication.
Eligibility: Class XII pass with minimum 50 per cent marks, or students appearing for the Class XII exam are eligible to appear for UG courses. The eligibility of students appearing for PG courses is graduate from any recognised university.
Selection process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test (general proficiency test/ design aptitude test/ media aptitude test) and personal interview.
Scholarship: Selected students would be offered a scholarship of up to 50 per cent of their total tuition fees for new courses in media & advertising.

Important dates: The last date of submission of application is April 16 for Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Jaipur, and April 23, 2018, for all other locations. The entrance exam will be conducted on April 21 at the four campuses and April 28, 2018, at all other locations.

The Delhi Collage of Art (DCA) invites applications for admission to four-year Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA). The programme consists of various modules covering different aspects of Fine Arts. The programme provides disciplines of painting, sculpture and applied art at the undergraduate level to help each student develop as a full-fledged artist.

Medical lab Technology
Cradle Institute of Paramedical Sciences, New Delhi, invites application form for one-year full-time diploma in Medical Lab Technology and Emergency Medical Technician. General Duty Assistant

MSc in Sustainability
The UK’s University of Southampton invites applications for its one-year MSc in Sustainability programme. It is an interdisciplinary master’s degree designed to explore sustainability issues in both developed and developing societies and address critical global challenges faced by them.
The course is taught across three faculties at the University — Faculty of Social, Human and Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Environment, and Faculty of Business, Law and Art. The course is designed with flexibility to allow for a programme of study that is tailor-made to suit requirements and aspirations of individual students. A constant focus on applied research and field-based methods provides sufficient exposure to students before they go out and face the real world sustainability challenges.
Eligibility: International students must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent approved by National Recognition Information Centre of UK and IELTS or equivalent score (6.5 average, minimum of 6 in each individual component).
Course fee: £18,630
Scholarships: Students are eligible for Southampton Merit Scholarships worth up to £3,000, the Chevening Scholarship and the Commonwealth Scholarships. These scholarships will be in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
Student Intake: 15 - 45.
Important dates: The course commences from September 2018. Although applications deadline is June 30, 2018, with maximum 45 seats available for the programme, early applications are advisable.
