We often apply Mehandi or henna on our hands during festivals and marriage functions as it is considered auspicious. The actual color of henna comes after 1 or two days. It takes its deep color and begins to fade after five to six days. There are several women who didn’t like mehandi to stay for longer times. Use Lemon:

Lemon contains bleaching properties and it is very safe to remove mehandi. Take a piece of lemon and rub it on your hands. Your henna will get removed.

Bleach is best:

Make a mixture of chlorine and water and dip your hands in it for at least 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, wash your hands with cold water. Your henna will be removed.

Apply Toothpaste:

You can apply toothpaste on your mehandi to remove its color. Apply thin layer of toothpaste on henna for 10-15 minutes. You will get quick results.

Use Salt:

Salt is a good cleanser. Add water to a bowl and mix teaspoon of salt in it. Dip your hands in this mixture for 15-20 minutes. Later, wash your hands. You will see a change.

Baking soda:

Baking soda has bleaching properties. Add it in a lemon juice and mix it well. Now use this mixture for atleast 15 minutes on henna. Now, wash your hands with lukewarm water. Your mehandi will be removed.

Olive Oil:

Apply olive oil on your hands for about 10 minutes with the help of cotton. Wash it with lukewarm water. You will see a change.
