Season five of the Bear Grylls survival series started back on Channel 4 this week.
The adventure challenge sees two teams dropped off on a remote desert island.
The castaways must work together to survive in sparse conditions with minimal supplies.
Every season has a twist in terms of the differences between the two teams and the 2018 run sees the teams separated by their incomes.
The first eight castaways are all wealthy professionals living off an average income of £100,000 a year – a wage only earned by a fraction of Brits.
The opposite group of eight castaways all earn below the UK national average wage.
Where is The Island with Bear Grylls 2018 filmed?
The Island with Bear Grylls 2018 takes place on an uninhabited Pacific Island.
The two teams were dropped off on the crocodile infested island which is located over 5000 mils from the UK.
The landscape may appear idyllic but the contestants have dangerous cliffs, dense jungle and wet mangroves to content with - not to mention the insects and other wildlife.
Seasons one and two took place on Isla Gibraleón off the coast of Panama.
Season three took place on Isla San Telmo and season four was filmed on Isla Bayoneta.

How many episodes are in The Island with Bear Grylls 2018?
This season consists of six hour long episodes.
New episodes will air on Channel 4 on Monday nights at 9pm.
According to Channel 4: “Bear begins the experiment by dropping the two groups off by boat at opposite ends of the island.
“The Islanders will have to fend for themselves armed only with some survival training, the clothes they stand up in, filming equipment, medical supplies, some basic tools and fishing equipment and enough water for 24 hours.”
The first five episodes will follow the castaways’ progress on the island, following their journeys as battle the elements.
The last episode is called Surviving the Island and will see the survivors returning home and reflecting on their time spent on the show.
Bear Grylls will also be providing his analysis on the decisions made by the participants.
