Bumper bar clue: Bizarre love-triangle claim in Clarinda hit-run
A Doncaster woman is on the run after allegedly ramming into a car believed to have her ex-partner and his new girlfriend inside.
Police are searching for the 40-year-old woman following the alleged hit-run on Bourke Road in Clarinda about 8.20pm on Tuesday.
The wanted woman fled the scene after allegedly ramming into a blue sedan with the 54-year-old Clayton man and 34-year-old Clarinda woman inside.
A registration plate from the offending vehicle was left at the scene after the incident.

The driver then allegedly tried to run over the 54-year-old man, but he managed to escape injury.
The female driver fled the scene leaving behind a damaged bumper bar and registration plates, according to Channel Nine.
The woman who was hit was treated for leg injuries and taken to The Alfred hospital where she remained in a stable condition on Wednesday morning.
Police confirmed that all three parties are known to each other.
A nearby resident reportedly told Nine News, "it sounds like a love triangle".
The hit-run happened not far from a Woolworths Caltex petrol station on the corner of Bourke Road and Viney Street.
A staff member at the petrol station said police had reviewed the business' CCTV footage, but cameras had not captured the crash.
