FALL RIVER — The Durfee High volleyball team evened its early-season record by defeating Randolph 3-1 in their match on Monday at the Luke Urban Field House.
The set scores were 25-19, 25-22, 23-25, 25-15. The Hilltoppers (1-1) had lost their season opener 3-2 against O'Bryant on Saturday.
"It's early in the season. We have a ton to work on," Durfee coach Brendan Kelly said. "But we're doing a good job with the hustle plays and we're serving well."
Varsity newcomer James Rebello was among those serving well against Randolph. He finished with 17 service points.
Setter Cameron Branco had 28 assists.
Senior Joe Camara turned in a solid game offensively and defensively, finishing with eight kills and eight digs.
Danny Keyes was a major force at the net, contributing 10 kills and eight blocks.
Durfee plays a Big 3 Conference match at Brockton on Wednesday.
