Ekamra Walks at the Old Town saw enthusiastic participation

The Sunday edition of Ekamra Walks that took place in the Old Town area of the city saw around 30 people from various walks of life take part in the heritage trail. The walk started from Mukteswar Temple with accompanying sounds of flute and ended at Ekamravan – the herbal garden on the banks of the sacred Bindusagar pond. The participants witnessed the art and architecture of the temples situated on the heritage trail route. It included Anant Vasudev Temple, Lingaraj Temple and an old inn. They also enjoyed Odissi dance performance at Artvision by eminent Odissi danseuse Iliana Citarist. “Taking part in the walk and getting to know about the monuments and the ruins of these heritage sites is a different experience altogether," said Hitesh Seth, a participant from Cuttack.
