The State Government under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Samraddhi Yojana, has taken a decision to give incentive amount of Rs 200 per quintal on wheat procured on minimum support price under Rabi-2016-17 and paddy procured on minimum support price under the Kharif -2017.
This amount will be transferred in the bank accounts of the farmers on April 16. The Principal Secretary Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development department, Rajesh Rajora has issued detailed directives through a letter to all the District Collectors in this connection.
The Principal Secretary has told the District Collectors that the amount of minimum support price has been deposited by the primary agriculture credit societies in the bank accounts of the farmers after the e-procurement in the state.
Concerned district collectors must obtain a verified list of the bank accounts of the registered farmers, who have sold wheat under Rabi 2016-17 and paddy under the Kharif 2017 through e-procurement, from the primary agriculture credit societies till April 6. This list should be verified farmer wise and bank account wise physically by the field staff of revenue, agriculture and panchayat department.
Besides, the Principal Secretary has said that necessary amendments should be carried out till April 5, as regard to the information of registered bank accounts given on the registered mobile numbers of the registered farmers. District Collectors have been told to inform the registered farmers between April 7 and 13 by mentioning bank account numbers on the mobile numbers registered on the e-procurement portal. He has mentioned that in case of any change, correction should be made by contacting the concerned field staff before April 13.
Directives have been issued to the collectors to complete all the arrangements as regard to the information registered on the e-procurement portal for transfer of Rs. 200 per quintal amount in the bank accounts of the farmers in the district.
