Businessman, family attempts suicide in Telangana

MANCHERIAL:A businessman’s family tried to commit suicide, alleging that ruling TRS MLA N Odallu’s son Kranthi had cheated them by not giving their share in a venture.

P Aravind, a business man, along with his family, went to the railway tracks to commit suicide in Mancherial on Monday. However, locals spotted him and informed the cops, who removed them from the spot. Aravind alleged that in 2016, he had constructed a shopping mall in the town and Chennur MLA’s son Kranthi entered into an agreement with him to take some shares, promising to pay 75 per cent amount in the total cost. He allegedly did not abide by the agreement. Aravind also claimed his deceased father had been denied a sum of money spent on digging bore wells on instructions of the Chennur MLA.
