Minister says information collected by CAG may be wrong

Minister for Animal Husbandry and Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav asserted that the state is still surplus and the information collected by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) based on which it projected the State as debt ridden must have been wrong. However, he failed to answer when pointed out that it was the State government that provided information to the CAG.

Addressing media after starting the distribution of fodder for sheep at Yerdnaur in Kandi mandal along with Lok Sabha member K. Prabhakar Reddy, MLA Chinta Prabhakar, ZP Chairperson Rajamani and others here on Tuesday, Mr. Srinivas Yadav said that the opposition Congress party has been levelling baseless allegations and asked whether the CAG had not found any fault with the government when the Congress ruled the state. However, he was quick to add that the government has taken loans in thousands of crores of rupees for schemes like sheep distribution, Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya which would increase the state revenue in the near future.

“We are implementing various welfare and development schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi, sheep distribution, Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya and Kaleshwram. We are ready to prove that all the schemes are being implemented successfully at any constituency including that of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy,” said the Minister adding that Kondapochamma will be completed in August followed by Kaleswaram next year.

Without mentioning the name of the newly established party by Kodandaram, he said that the leader of that party was also unable to see the development.

The Minister has also announced procurement of 100 mobile clinics shortly to extend health services for the domestic animals.
